Focus:
Sharing freely what we have been given.
Repetition:
Freely I have received, freely I will give.
My healing is meant to overflow.
I am a vessel of healing for those who come after me.
Becoming an ARP Practitioner
This week I want to talk to those of you who have felt a pull to do this work for others.
Maybe you have been walking this protocol for close to two years now and you have watched your own body change. Maybe you are already a practitioner, a nurse, a doula, a health coach, a chiropractor, or a massage therapist, and you have watched your clients hit a wall that you could not help them get past. Maybe you are the mother everyone in the family calls when someone is sick.
If you have felt that pull, this article is for you!
Why We Need More Practitioners
There are so many people who are hurting and so few people who know how to help them rebuild their terrain. I cannot see everyone who needs this work, and I was never meant to.
Healing was always meant to be passed from person to person, from family to family, and from community to community. This is how our ancestors held on to their wisdom for generations: someone who knew taught someone who wanted to know. The more of us there are, the more people will be able to find their way back to health.
How the Course Works
I offer free classes for those who want to become ARP practitioners. The classes are student led, which means you will be learning alongside others who are walking the same path, and you will be teaching one another as you go.
You must learn the protocol on your own. This is not a course where someone hands you a binder and tells you what to think. You will be reading, studying, living the protocol, asking questions, and doing the work of understanding why we use the tools we use.
There is no specific course time. You can move as quickly or as slowly as your life allows. Some of you are raising little ones, some of you are working full time, and some of you are still healing yourselves while you learn, and all of that is okay.
When you are knowledgeable enough, you can receive a certificate. You simply email arp.exec.asst@gmail.com to sign up for the course, and then you begin.
Observing a Group Coaching Class
You can observe one of my group coaching classes at no cost. This is where you will see how I actually implement the method with real people. Reading about the protocol and watching it come alive in a group are two very different things.
You will see how we meet people where they are, how we slow down when a nervous system needs it, how we walk through die-off, how we celebrate the small shifts, and how we keep our focus on the whole person and not just the symptom. Take notes, write down your questions, and pay attention to the tone of the class as much as the content. How we speak to someone who is hurting matters just as much as what we tell them to eat.
Two Paths
You can use this course to incorporate ARP into the practice you already have. If you are already working with clients, the ARP framework can sit alongside what you do and give you the terrain piece that is so often missing.
You can also use this course to create a practice of your own. Many of you do not have letters after your name, and you have more wisdom about healing than you realise. You can have an income while helping others heal. There is nothing wrong with being paid for your time, your study, and your care. Scripture tells us that the laborer deserves his payment, and that is true of this work too.
The One Thing I Ask
I ask that you always be willing to offer full scholarships to those who are willing to work hard but do not have the funds. Some of the people who need this work most are the ones who have spent everything they had on doctors, tests, and treatments that did not help. Some are single mothers, some are disabled, some are too sick to work, and some have simply been through a hard season. Money should never be the reason someone cannot heal.
A full scholarship does not mean doing the work for someone. It means that when a person shows up, does their part, and is willing to work hard, a lack of funds will not be what stops them. So many of us were given exactly what we needed at just the right time, and this is how we pass it on.
“Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matthew 10:8)
Getting Ready
Here are a few ways to prepare before you sign up:
- Go back through the weekly articles, starting at Week One, and read them slowly with a notebook beside you.
- Keep your own protocol journal and notice what shifted for you and when.
- Write down every “why” question you have and go looking for the answer.
- Keep up your own nervous system work, because a regulated practitioner is the most powerful tool in the room.
- Practise listening, really listening, the way we talked about in Week Twelve.
- Pray for the people you will one day serve, even before you know who they are.
You Do Not Have to Know Everything to Begin
You only have to be willing to learn, willing to keep healing yourself, and willing to share what you have been given.
If you feel the pull, email arp.exec.asst@gmail.com to sign up for the course, come observe a group coaching class, and take the first step.
I cannot wait to see what God does through you!
