Focus:
On our intuition (or “instincts” if you like that word better) and allowing it to guide us and releasing the desire to follow the urgent directions of our dysregulated nervous system.
Repetition:
I was gifted intuition (or instincts).
I KNOW the voice that was placed so lovingly within me to help guide me through my day.
I will learn to listen to my gifted voice instead of the voice of urgency which is in opposition to love and healing.

Releasing Shame and Guilt
If you feel you are having issues with guilt and shame, I want to recommend this book: Good-bye to Guilt. If you feel stuck in your forgiveness journey, please read: Forgiveness: The Greatest Healer of All.
To heal, we want to release shame and guilt and view our past selves with love and compassion. We want to forgive any and all transgressions from others and ourselves. We want to release emotions that are stuck inside of us and prevent us from healing, which prevents our full ability to love God and love others.
Remember that emotions get caught in the physical body, and we want to do our somatic practices daily.
Somatic Practices for Stuck Emotions
If you feel offended, angry, not heard, or irritable, try placing a fist beneath your chin firmly and opening your mouth as wide as possible, performing a “silent scream,” getting your entire body involved, then shake your whole body, shaking out the arms and legs. Silent scream demonstration
If you feel sad, left out, not good enough, or lonely, cry — and if you have trouble crying, watch videos or listen to songs that will help you cry, or simply pretend to sob. The tears will come in time. Interlace your thumbs, place your hands across your chest, and gently alternate tapping your hands in a rhythmic motion to soothe and comfort yourself. Sway from side to side, sitting with your hands wrapped around yourself. Co-regulate if possible — ask someone to hold your hand, hold you, rub your back gently, or even just be very close to a pet.
For fear, anxiety, unwillingness to move forward, or lack of confidence, do a few physiological sighs and use progressive muscle exercises. Tighten every muscle group one by one and then release. You may also tighten your whole body at once and then relax, multiple times.
With each exercise, do your favourite breathing technique, ground if possible, stay aware of your body and surroundings, and finish with a round of tapping that is appropriate for your experience.
If you are experiencing arrhythmia from dysregulation, close the eyes and ears and breathe in through the nose for 5.5 seconds and hum in a deep tone for a 5.5 second exhale. You may add a breath hold at the end of the inhale and exhale if you prefer.
Continuing with Soups
We will continue with our soups for 5 weeks and then we will begin bringing some new foods in. Enjoy having your gut-rebuilding elixirs! This is a special time that only happens once in a lifetime for us, as we will learn to never compromise our bodies again. Try to remember this time is so very precious and you will look back on it so fondly, so simply enjoy it as it unfolds!
If you find boredom showing up, create a theme meal with the soup — candles, music, and play with friends or family. For example, make invitations for your family and friends labelled “Medieval Monday,” serve “gruel,” play medieval music, and have everyone dress in character (using what you have on hand), using your best accents and keeping the conversation period-focused. Eat outside, eat in a detox bath with candles and music, take your food to a favourite spot in nature, etc. Your body is not bored with the nutrition, so a change of food is not necessary — your human cells can only eat this food, and that is what we want to regenerate!
Excellent work this week! You are doing a phenomenal job!
